The NGOs Zelena
Istra from Istria and ZEO Nobilis of Medjimurje
will each develop four Green Agendas in
four communities. The following activities
will be organised:
1) Stakeholder
Analysis
The NGOs will make an analysis of stakeholders
in the local communities concerned.
2) Round Tables
Round tables will be organised. All stakeholders
will be invited to take part. The result
should be a clear commitment of the stakeholders
to start the Green Agenda process locally
and an initial prioritisation of local issues
to be dealt with.
3) Local Working
Groups
Local working groups will be set up consisting
of representatives of different groups.
For example: local NGOs, local authorities,
municipal council, local business.
4) Chapters
of Green Agenda
Chapters will consist of an analysis and
prioritisation of the issues and problems
and of proposals how to deal with these.
5) Local Campaigns
and Education
The public will be informed through media
campaigns, brochures, newsletters and posters.
6) Local and
Regional Meetings
In the communities, two meetings for all
stakeholders will be organised to report
on the status of the Green Agenda. In each
of the two regions, meetings will take place
where experiences can be shared and ideas
be exchanged for the Green Agendas.
7) Adoption
of Green Agendas
After the first year, the local councils
are expected to adopt the Green Agenda officially.
8) Local activities
and publicity
Depending on the content of the Green Agendas,
ZEO Nobilis and Zelena Istra will implement
and/or assist in the realisation of actions.
A newsletter will be produced.
9) Local and
regional symposium
At the end of the project the results and
the Manual will be presented in order to
enthuse other communities to start a Green
Agenda.
